CEU Compliance Questions

Are your courses approved for California CEU requirements?

Yes. All 101 CEUs courses are approved by the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and meet the continuing education requirements established by the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) for Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) and Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs).

How many CEU hours do I need each year?

Requirements vary depending on your role. RCFE Administrators and ARF Administrators are each required to complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) must complete annual training hours as specified by their facility and licensing requirements. We recommend checking directly with CCLD or your licensing body to confirm your specific requirements.

Will my certificate be accepted by my licensing agency?

Yes. Our certificates of completion are issued in compliance with CCLD and DDS requirements and are accepted for ARF and RCFE continuing education credit.

Course Questions

How long does each course take?

Course length varies by course. Each course listing includes the estimated completion time. Most of our current courses are 1 hour in length.

Can I pause and come back to a course later?

Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. You can log out at any time and pick up right where you left off when you return.

How many times can I take a quiz?

You may retake quizzes as needed to achieve a passing score. We want you to genuinely learn the material, not just pass a test.

When do I receive my certificate?

Your certificate of completion is available for download immediately after you successfully complete all course lessons and pass the final quiz.

Do my courses expire?

Once enrolled, you have ongoing access to your course materials. Your certificate does not expire, though your CEU requirements may need to be renewed on your licensing cycle.

Payment & Refund Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, as well as PayPal.

Can my employer pay for my course?

Yes. If your facility is handling payment, please have them contact us about group enrollment options. Individual learners can also pay out of pocket and submit their receipt for reimbursement.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not yet completed the course. Once a certificate has been issued, the purchase is non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at [your email address].
