These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of 101ceus.com and the courses, certificates, and services offered by 101 CEUs (“101 CEUs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our Service
101 CEUs provides self-paced online continuing education courses for Administrators and Direct Support Professionals working in California Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) and Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs). Course content, availability, and pricing may change at any time.
Account Registration
To enroll in a course, you must create an account with accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Course Access and License
When you purchase a course, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and complete that course for your own individual continuing education. Course accounts may not be shared, resold, or transferred to another person. Facilities enrolling multiple staff members through Group Enrollment must obtain a separate license for each individual staff member.
Payment and Refunds
Course fees are due in full at the time of enrollment and are processed securely through our third-party payment providers. We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the course has not yet been completed. Once a certificate of completion has been issued for a course, that purchase is non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at [your email address].
Certificates and Continuing Education Credit
Upon successfully completing a course and passing the required quiz, you will receive a certificate of completion. Our courses are approved by the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and meet Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) continuing education requirements for ARF and RCFE professionals. You are responsible for confirming with your facility, employer, or licensing body that a given course satisfies your specific continuing education obligations.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or allow another person to complete a course on your behalf
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell course content without our written permission
- Attempt to circumvent quizzes, progress tracking, or certificate issuance
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or interferes with its normal operation
Intellectual Property
All course content, text, graphics, logos, and materials on the Site are owned by 101 CEUs or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your course license does not grant you any ownership rights in that content.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and courses are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work to keep course content accurate and current with California regulatory requirements, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that course content is free of all errors or omissions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 101 CEUs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or courses, including any licensing, employment, or regulatory consequences related to your continuing education requirements. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a course will not exceed the amount you paid for that course.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
